Above Africa, dark clouds spawned, black as smoke to obscure the brilliant sky. Then... everything burned red. Crimson arcs of electrical energy streamed across the sky, lashing out at the ground below. Fiery comets rained from the sky, burning a path across the continent. Above Mount Kilimanjaro, the clouds burned brightest, an epicenter of the storm. They split with languid speed, giving birth to a massive meteor that fell as if through jelly. The force punched a hole in the mighty mountain, burning red hot slag left in it's wake. The Pyroclastic flash that followed scorched the land before plumes of dust and ash followed on it's heels.
The storm cleared within the hour, shedding light on the devastated land below it, leaving the world to watch with baited breath as the smoke cleared and heat died back. What would become of the volcano?
