The land which is now known as the Holy Brittanian Empire was one of the most devastated places in the aftermath of the bombardment, having endured the detonation of yellowstone national park’s volcano. One which should have thrown the planet into a thousand year cold age but instead. Didn’t. For those living on the western continent especially its northern half this was bizarre, as archeological evidence contested what they saw with their own eyes. This was where the first emperor Uther zi Britannia (Born as Uther Britton), hallowed be his name, rose to prominence. Declaring that it was there was no clearer evidence of divine work they were the chosen, he was the chosen.
Thus the nation of Britannia was born almost overnight, declaring that there were those with and without the favors of divinity and they were in fact those favored. If their record of conquest on the American continent is taken into account this is a supported claim. Of course a nation is not truly born overnight, not barring some divine blessing. An urban legend wrapped inside mystery from long ago, the first Emperor’s eyes held within them a sigil bestowed by a demon ‘Geass’, a mysterious power capable of turning the hearts of men. This of course is not proven in any way.
In the modern day Brittannia is one of the premier superstates on the surface of Earth, having ten years ago acquired the islands of former Japan as their 11th territory. They are riding high. Were it not for the array of Beta nests in their territory, and now the 2nd territory of Cascadia making a bid for independence their high has come crashing down.
However if its knights have anything to say about it, Britannia will not fall from grace.
Look and Feel:
In the nation of Britannia you are either a Britannian or a Number, third rate citizens at best who should be grateful to even be within the vicinity of a proper pure blooded Britannian. Of course one can rise above their station as a Number and become a honorary Britannian through extensive military service, in turn becoming a second rate citizen instead.
Clothing differs massively depending on one’s social standing, the common folk have their own style while among the nobility and especially the imperial family and its many branches a mimicry of the victorian era as if to hearken back to what could have been.
All the same due to the variety of entities it has used as its various zones and continues to do to this day the nation has absorbed a lot of different looks and feels for itself and wears them upon its chest like a badge of honor.

Biography:
Emperor Alexandros, the public face of the empire and as of two years ago its longest reigning emperor after concluding his 40th year as the bearer of the crown. Before whom the throne was claimed with blood and as such is regarded as a great bringer of peace. Albeit not externally, for under his oversight numerous territories were annexed. It is also during his reign that the Beta first arrived and have continued to arrive.
Still, he has held firmly onto the throne. Recently however preparations for abdication seem to be in the works, yet it is not his son who was declared heir apparent but rather the man’s grandson. Causing quite a stir among the nobility.

Biography:
The Knight of One, a position as old as the empire itself held by its strongest combatant. The premier pilot of the elites under the command of the emperor himself. The position Lothair obtained after beating the former owner in a duel and as such was anointed Knight of One by the Emperor himself.
As a knight the man has unique privileges, acting outside the military and above it. And like his peers the eccentricities of the Knight of One are showing. One who believes in his supremacy as a pilot enough to toy with his food. One who tosses away the lives of those beneath him eager to challenge those who contest him to duels with debatable survivability rates.

Sutherland:
Reliable and effective, the Sutherland has been the backbone of the Britannian military since its conception. It is cheap, effective and simple. A teenager with no military training could step into a Sutherland and at least move it around within five minutes and within an hour participate in active combat. While they are slowly being transitioned out for now the Sutherland will continue to see active combat use for at least another lifetime.
Gloucester:
A remodeled Sutherland with a focus on close combat, commonly associated with elite forces but beginning to transition downwards as new models are being produced bit by bit. They boast higher performance than their origin but have not yet overtaken them due to logistical reasons.
