History:
Decades before the arrival of the Zentraedi, the Garlen Conglomerate was a leading power on earth, buying up media and technological firms by the dozens, determined to build themselves into a world power of their own. Headed by the “revolutionary” industrialist Marlon Garlen, the company seemed to solely be a way for Marlon to create an undying legacy for his name. Garlen first made his money through He-3 mining around Jupiter, building up his empire until it was discovered how to create it using the oceans. Garlen’s empire began to slowly collapse as the backbone of his business was broken, and the slowly decaying mind of Garlen set his eyes on showing what for to the Earth.
Packing up his companies, the Garlen Conglomerate escaped the earth sphere aboard a retrofitted Jupitris class vessel, and left the rest of humanity behind. Records are shaky following their escape, but according to the Jovian Federation, as the colonists descendants call themselves, Garlen discovered the power of “Gekiganger Rays”, and has since used their power to unearth a massive artefact that has allowed them to create their armies, and will use them to “free” the people of earth from the control of the companies, and unite them under the Jovian Banner.
Look and feel:
The Jovian Federations humanoid Mobile Weapons are typically based off of the look of super robots, while their uniforms consist of crisp white shirts with a gold trim. All rank holding officials within the Federation appear to be male.
Notable Individuals:
Marlon Garlen: The seemingly immortal head of the Jovian Federation, Marlon is the only voice most people ever hear from Jovian machines, playing recordings exposing about the power of Garlen and his “Gekiganger Rays”.
Mass Production Machines:
Batta: Small, Grasshopper-like unmanned machines, the Jovian’s produce these in vast numbers, typically using their overwhelming numbers to break through enemy defenses and cause havoc within. The Batta is armed with a pair of lasers in the eyes, and missiles stored in the upper torso.
Juro: Another unmanned machine, Juro are only armed with machine guns, but are smaller than Batta on the ground.
Katonbo: Mass Produced unmanned battleships, Katonbo are armed with a multi-convergent impact laser in the nose of the ship, as well as numerous missile launchers. However, this unit’s Distortion field is absolutely it’s claim to fame, protecting itself from beam weapons, and reducing other damage, making it incredibly difficult to fight against, unless using physical weapons.
Tetsujin: A manned Jovian robot, the Tetsujin mimics the aerial form of Gekiganger 3, capable of single manned Boson jumps- Armed with lasers, missiles, a “rocket punch” and can fire off a Gravitational Wave cannon.
Majin and Denjin: There are two more Jin series that are currently in production, mainly serving the same purpose as the Tetsujin in battle.
