History:
The troubled history of BAHRAM can be traced back to the days of the Pax Economica. As mankind moved onto Mars, many became increasingly alarmed as despite the record prosperity, civil rights were being surrendered at the feet of unaccountable mega corporations. After a series of mass-casualty "accidents" believed to have been coverups of the increasingly volatile feud between GA Armaments and Interior, to which the puppet Martian Government had no response to, armed militias began to form for the purpose of keeping the peace, and standing up to the overreach of the corporations.
Initially armed with LEVs, those that opposed the Corporations were no match for the hired guns - Ravens - employed by their foes, and suffered loss after staggering loss until the arrival of the BETA put the plans for revolution on temporary hold. BAHRAM pinned its hopes on a developing technology involving a highly unique and valuable asset attained from their contacts in the Jovian moons: Metatron, and were rewarded with the construction of the Idolo, the first of what would become known as Orbital Frames.
Idolo joined the final, doomed assault on the Mars BETA Hive, and while its performance was everything its backers had hoped for and more, the cataclysmic finale served as a glowing exclamation point. Now, with no planet left to fight for, BAHRAM appeared to fade into the background, officially being declared as wiped out by the corporate-owned media.
But it was not the end.
For some, the glow of Idolo's frame that day had been a harbinger of dread things to come. But for BAHRAM?
It was the shining light of purpose.
Since arriving in Earth orbit, BAHRAM has extended its roots deep into the Colonies, finding many sympathizers eager to rebel against those seen as having destroyed their home. What it lacks in manpower it makes up for with scores of unmanned Orbital Frames, technology that even the Corporations have difficulty reproducing due to a lack of steady Metatron supply. Continuing to grow in strength, it is only a matter of time before it once again surfaces in the public eye...
And the voice of Metatron will ring across the cosmos.
