Sixth Day of the First Calendar Month
A request went up on the Hunter’s Den by a fairly well-known trading company. Recently a remnant Praetorian Force had shown up on one of their major trading routes and have been terrorizing convoys that made their way through that starlane. There was no information on what kind of Praetorian it was, as all forces that had engaged with it were outright annihilated. Not a single survivor has returned which has brought concern to the company.
In the emptiness of space, one could find peace, but one could also find loneliness. Though vision of the four major moons was ever-present, the sheer vastness of space really brought into focus the scale of how insignificant one was in the grand scheme of things. Perhaps those first pioneers into space felt it too; just how far did space go exactly? Was the universe truly infinite?
Despite the vastness of space, danger was never far from one’s self. Asteroid fields, gravitational distortions, black holes, spatial anomalies, Praetorians; one’s unfortunate end was but a hair’s breadth away.
Especially Praetorians, or well, those that still lurked the space of Jupiter, were the biggest threat to the peace of the Jovian Sphere. Thus, it was up to the brave MS Hunters and Vultures to hunt these beasts down and ensure the continuing prosperity of mankind.
But just what kind of machine was lurking in this space?
