Name: Min-Seo Silverton
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 110 lbs
Eye Color: Magenta
Hair Color: Raven
Ethnicity: German/Korean
Appearance: Min-Seo inherited her mother's talent as an Adapter, and much of her physical excellence besides. She also inherited both her father's high intellect and his albinism. The result is a pale, lean, lithe, and faintly muscular woman with a highly irreverent worldview. She tends to dress in blacks and greens, meandering from punk to gothic to industrial. She's also fond of dying segments of her hair in fluorescent colors.

Other Information:
  • Occupation: Student
  • Likes: Trampoline, shirtlessness, vinyl records, ugly-but-cute things, and strawberries.
  • Dislikes: Pessimists, aphorisms, being alone, cigarettes, and pickles.
  • Leitmotif: The Enlightened Society of Bavaria

Biography: The eldest child of Myeong-Suk and Trenton Traugott Silverton. As her mother was an Adapter, and her father a relic research scientist, much of her early life was spent in and around S.O.N.G. headquarters and the nearby Lydian Private Musical Academy. Despite her pedigree her parents resisted enrolling her as a Candidate, instead trying to give her and her sister as normal a life as possible under the watchful eye of the organization.

However, Min-Seo was ever a curious girl, and would sneak peeks at the relics her father was researching whenever she could. Dr. Silverton did his best to keep his materials secure, only occasionally indulging the girl with the odd photo of a particularly fanciful bauble or trinket. Even though most relics he handled were in inner or dormant states, one could never be too careful with mythological objects and their curses.

When she was ten years old, an impatient Min-Seo barged into her father's lab on Halloween to beg to go Trick or Treating. At the time, he was studying the Mirror of Tezcatlipoca, and she came to stare at it while he was getting ready to go. In the process, she was knocked unconscious for half an hour, and bestowed a traumatizing vision. When she awoke she was inconsolable, and suffered night terrors for years thereafter. To this day, she refuses to relate what she saw to any other living soul.

After that incident, her personality began to change. She became more quiet and introverted, pouring what remained of her youthful energy into her studies. Her interest in relics began to wane, only to be replaced by an intense curiosity about wielding and the layers of reality. She remained polite and even a bit upbeat around family and longtime friends, yet most of them felt as if something about her had gone cold. Something that only got colder over the years, as she began to decorate her body with tattoos, piercings, and dyes.

At 16, she pressured her parents into enrolling her as a Candidate, and after three years of training, has become a novice Adapter. Her traumas and obsessions yet color her psyche, turning the blade into a reaper's shroud: Igalima, the Imprisoning Scythe.

Mobile Weapon: SG-i02 Igalima
Affiliation: S.O.N.G.

Combat Style: Mischief
Combat Theme: Line of Fire
Strengths: Between her imagination and her high-functioning analytical mind, Min-Seo is able to come up with all sorts of playful ideas on the fly, even if they fail or aren't viable to begin with. Thankfully her heritage has provided her with many of the tools necessary to at least attempt implementation of her wild notions. In combat, this means she often hides or flees, only to fling something from the top of her mind at her opponent, and come at them anew. Much of her combat style revolves around illusion, analysis, and sabotage to confuse or disarm her target, letting her have her way through deceit rather than brute force. When all else fails, she falls back on what brawn she does have to drag herself out of whatever catastrophe she caused for herself.
Weaknesses: At her deepest core she rejects the world, holding little sacred, and seeking to remake it. The world simply doesn't work the way she wants or expects it to. She isn't nearly as invulnerable as she'd like to believe, nor are her skills that superior to her foes, if at all. All too often her arrogance, naivete, and inexperience trip her up, while her brashness and contrarianism spur her on from one misadventure to another.

Name: Eun-Ji Silverton
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 100 lbs
Eye Color: Orchid Pink
Hair Color: White
Ethnicity: German/Korean
Appearance: Eun-Ji inherited her mother's talent as an Adapter, and much of her physical excellence besides. She also inherited both her father's high intellect and his albinism. The result is a short, pale, well-rounded and faintly muscular woman with a cordial poise and an iron backbone. She tends to dress in blacks and pinks, but is also fond of whites and blues. Her attire runs more girlish and formal than her sibling - something that further belies her latent aggressive and dominative tendencies.

Other Information:
  • Occupation: Student
  • Likes: Mixing drinks, activities in public, confidence (in herself and others), pecans, and reading.
  • Dislikes: Sexists, statues, goats, spicy foods, and politics.
  • Leitmotif: The Lunatic Court

Biography: The youngest child of Myeong-Suk and Trenton Traugott Silverton.

At first Eun-Ji was a quiet and obedient child, largely growing up the shadow of her more exuberant sister. She took her parents lessons in manners to heart, and at an early age was unfailingly orderly and polite. While she could remind her inquisitive sister of the rules when she seemed on the verge of breaking them, Eun-Ji rarely ever tried to stop Min-Seo from her misadventures. To some extent she admired her sibling's courage and initiative, and quietly longed to be like her.

When she was nine years old, her impatient sister barged into their father's lab on Halloween to beg to go Trick or Treating. At the time, he was studying the Mirror of Tezcatlipoca, and she came to stare at it while he was getting ready to go. In the process, Min-Seo was knocked unconscious for half an hour, and bestowed a traumatizing vision. When she awoke she was inconsolable, and suffered night terrors for years thereafter. To this day, she refuses to relate what she saw to any other living soul.

Eun-Ji was crushed by her sister's behavior: not only was Min-Seo suffering, but she was shutting everyone, even her devoted sister out. That her sister no longer trusted her was hard enough, but suddenly being an isolated child forced her to make some personality changes of her own. She forced herself to become more outgoing, to take up the role of the elder child that her sibling had let drop in her pain. Over the years, as Min-Seo acted erratically and began dressing in ever stranger fashions, Eun-Ji found herself acting as her sister's protector, fighting off bullies and subtly punishing classmates for their unkind remarks.

At 15, when Min-Seo pressured her way into enrollment as a Candidate, Eun-Ji followed her to continue being her shield against the world. After three years of training, has become a novice Adapter. Her devotions and predilections yet color her psyche, turning her blade into a merciless bulwark: Shul Shagana, the Annihilation Saw.

Mobile Weapon: SG-i01 Shul Shagana
Affiliation: S.O.N.G.

Combat Style: Bloodsport
Combat Theme: The Crossing
Strengths: Eun-Ji is a very brutal, very straightforward opponent. While far from averse to stealth or subterfuge, her playfulness and inventiveness largely emerge in the midst of a slow, punishing dismantling of her target. She possesses tremendous mental fortitude and personal control, is far from squeamish, and could even be called sadistic when she lets her passions loose. This lends the dogged determination and exceptional endurance to be a terrifying combatant.
Weaknesses: Her certitude makes her very difficult to control if she gets carried away, and this can result in a high degree of collateral damage. That she doesn't know when to quit, and has bountiful reserves to keep pressing her luck is as much boon as blight. If she doesn't end up going beyond the pale, she might just march herself into a losing scenario, and be too stubborn to pull herself back out.

Name: Saidra Rys
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 130 lbs
Eye Color: Blue-Violet
Hair Color: Red-Auburn
Ethnicity: Hindustani
Appearance: Saidra is bit of a fit beanpole - tall enough to tower over most of the rest of her family, while sturdy enough to capitalize on her stature. Where her mother eventually developed into a curvaceous hourglass, Saidra takes more after her aunt as a trim and energetic athlete. She has the same scarlet hair as her female relatives, but she wears it loosely gathered in a ponytail at the base of her skull, and as a choppy bob otherwise. She tends to dress in red and black, favoring assymetry.

Other Information:
  • Occupation: Student
  • Likes: Urban exploring, playing cards, makeup, judo, peanut butter.
  • Dislikes: Gossip, inactivity, bees, intimidation, cloying sweets.
  • Leitmotif: Topaz

Biography: The only child of Yadira Rys and her one-time manager and fiance, Ashwin Mishra. Due to her mother's dual careers as both a singer and a Symphogear wielder, Saidra grew up largely in the care of others, particularly her aunt. Her father was slain by Noise before she was born, leaving her mother to carry her to term and raise her on her own. The mixed emotions this generated created an at times delicate relationship between the two.

Nonetheless, Saidra took after her mother and aunt early in life, developing a love for music and for athletics both. She was enrolled in Lydian Private Musical Academy both to foster these talents and to keep her under the full protection of S.O.N.G. There she became acquainted with her underclassmen, Min-Seo and Eun-Ji Silverton. With Min-Seo in particular she developed a budding friendship, the two spending a fair bit of their early teens swapping rebellious fashion tips.

Despite her fraught bond with her mother, Saidra admired the work she and her aunt did for S.O.N.G. Her aunt secretly began training her early on, while her mother adamantly opposed her following in her footsteps. So ardently opposed was Yadira to her daughter being a Candidate that, despite starting earlier and having higher martial talent, she was only able to badger her way into S.O.N.G. after both her friends had already been accepted.

Even then, her mother managed to pull some strings and have the focus of her Adapter training be with a healing/defense-focused armor relic. As a consequence, Saidra struggled to resonate with her Gear at first. Even with her family's talent for Adapters, she still has only a moderate synchronicity rate with her Gear, sometimes necessitating the usage of LiNKER when this bond falters.

This at-times oppressive feeling and her yearning to nonetheless follow her mother in both fields color her psyche, turning her armor into Nehushtan, the Crushing Snake.

Mobile Weapon: SG-x01 Nehushtan
Affiliation: S.O.N.G.

Combat Style: Whiplash
Combat Theme: Inside My Core
Strengths: Saidra has trained in various hand-to-hand martial arts all her life, and is equally at home in fisticuffs or kickboxing. She regularly shifts between styles while fighting, mixing in a healthy dose of mid-range whip attacks and longer-range projectiles where needed. Her versatility makes her a confusing and highly aggressive opponent. Within her team, she often plays the role of harasser or defensive support, using her whips to grab nearby objects to shield her allies and hurl at enemies.
Weaknesses: Her style thrives on momentum and continuity, so disruptions that break her train of thought can put her on the backstep. Worse, she's more accustomed to being a solo fighter. When she gets rolling with the punches, it's easy for her to lose sight of her comrades and end up in each other's way. Her easiest form of compensation is to forgo attacking to focus on rear line support, keeping her pace slower and more methodical, but this often leaves her chafing.
