"You hear all sorts of exciting rumors about this place."
That was what Wolfgang reflected upon, the wheel-like Einerad carrying the diminuitive form of his Gedlav across the waves towards its destination. The early morning rays hung over an overcast day, the shadows of the clouds and the scintillating rays of the sun mixing to form a kaleidoscopic seascape that soothed the soul. Well... That was the danger, wasn't it? You didn't have to look too close at the occasional wreckage that drifted by to understand the true nature of the boundless ocean.
"Buried treasure!" He exclaimed, seemingly to himself as he snapped upright, tending to the controls with the speed and precision of a frenzied train conductor:
"Sea monsters! Pirates!"
He thumbed switches left and right, taking the Mobile Suit off standby mode as it drifted around patches of debris, sending waves cascading on either side of the churning wheels. His voice turned into a low rasp, completed with a wide grin full of pearl-white teeth.
"Danger!"
Oh, he shouldn't. He really shouldn't. He knew that. His angel would be terribly, terribly displeased if he died so soon - but, he just couldn't help himself. Following the ship's arrival, he had immediately departed, drawn by rumors from the Wakenet - and submitted his request. Scarcely a few minutes had passed before he'd found a willing collaborator - a consort, if you would, with whom he could share the spoils. Now, he thought as he drew the machine ever closer, scanning the horizon - where were they?
