Robert Stoddheim, Protector of Heimdallr, is a legendary figure from Erebonian Empire’s early days of expansion alongside his Divine Knight, El-Prado. Despite his old age he was the strongest knight under the second emperor of Erebonia, Ophello De Ronnough. Ophello’s reign was an era of conquest during which Erebonia’s territories grew rapidly. Robert’s legacy and position among Erebonia’s history was cemented when one of Erebonia’s generals, Cassius Bright, rebelled against Ophello’s reign in the hopes of becoming the emperor himself.
That day, El-Prado stood alone against the rebellious army, and against all odds single handedly protected Heimdallr long enough for reinforcements to arrive and even managed to kill the traitorous general. Though the heroic stand cost him his life, it had made Robert Stoddheim and El-Prado figures that every Erebonian learns about as the personification of virtue and patriotism. Today, a statue of the man stands in front of the main gates of Heimdallr, watching over the plains where his last stand took place.
And while as far as the public goes his tale ended there as is normal, in reality the old knight woke up in a magnificent grave few years later, alive and without a hint of the wounds he took in the battle.
After leaving his own grave with the help of Spirit Paths he investigated the mysteries of Erebonia. For during the battle he had noticed a dark miasma of energy swirling about and around Cassius. Over the years he found out about the Curse influencing Erebonia, as well as the one behind it all, Ishmelga.
The Immortal has awaited for the time to raise his sword once more ever since, for the day when the Curse would start getting more active in preparation for the final days. And now that the Curse has become more active, El-Prado has come to the open once more, crushing detachments of imperial forces on occasion. The celebrated protector of the capitol being turned against them has been a bitter pill to stomach for the nation.

Strengths: While El-Prado is one of the stronger Divine Knights, a Divine Knight’s strength is stil ultimately derived from the strength of their Awakener. With talent to spare, a well of experience and an age to hone his skills, Robert’s strength is great indeed.
Weaknesses: While the old man Robert has some tricks up his sleeve for medium range attacks, he is still mostly a close ranged fighter, and is largely defanged by foes that stay away from him.
