Biography: Born in Britannian Canada, Ryan orphaned at a young age. As an orphan, Ryan was constantly bullied and discriminated by his peers at a young age, which caused him to attach himself to technology and media, mainly of the Japanese variety. In these types of media he fantasized himself to be a hero, protecting the weak and saving world. Soon, he was adopted by a man working as a mercenary who showed him the wider world. He was mainly hired by high ranking officials within the Britannian Empire, doing dirty jobs for the politicians who wished to keep their hands clean.
Ryan went on many missions with his adoptive father, and began to grow a distaste for those in power due to the nature of their missions. After one mission in particular, Ryan had decided to leave his father. All his father wanted was to get the job done, that last job however almost got Ryan killed by his father’s own hand. He was a puppet to those who would use power for the wrong means, so Ryan set about to do exactly the opposite. Instead of serving the will of one, he wished to serve the will of the people, to serve freedom in choice. Setting his course to the Eorzean Frontier, he planned to do just that and more.

A set of two launchers mounted on the left shoulder shield, capable of launching ordnances. The chaff is capable of confusing enemy electronics and generating a cloud of smoke for the Bushnell to move through.
Royal Ordnance M1108 anti-tank dagger
A small explosive dagger that is made as a close combat weapon or a throwing knife. As the name implies, it was made to deal with tanks due to their smaller size in comparison to Arm Slaves. For easy access, the two anti-tank daggers are kept in the sides of the torso and can be launched at a target if the need ever arises.
Bofors ASG96-B 57mm Smoothbore Gun
A large rifle which plays the role of a sniper rifle in the hands of an Arm Slave. It is capable of performing precision shots from long distances, or a capable rifle for mid ranged engagements. For storage, the rifle folds up and stores itself onto the back of an Arm Slave.
OTO Melara “Boxer” 57mm Shotcannon
Styled after a semiautomatic/pump action shotgun, the Shotcannon is a weapon capable of dealing devastating close quarters to mid ranged damage. It fires large slug and buckshot rounds into enemies at close ranges, leading to devastating results. Ryan prefers the slug rounds however, mainly due to the draw of increasing the effective range of his weapon. When not in use, it is stored on the back of the hip area.
Large Monomolecular Cutter
A larger more sword-like variant of the typical Monomolecular Cutter used by most Arm Slaves. It utilizes a blade that acts as a type of chainsaw with teeth small and sharp enough to cut through the armor of most grunts with ease. When not in use, it is kept in a sheathe connected to the side of the Bushnell.

Ever since, he has come to use it as his personal machine for carrying out missions against those attempting to occupy the Eorzean Frontier. He also regularly pays for a restock and repair every 2 weeks from the same benefactor, still unsure of who he truly is.
