“Hey, I was just doing my part Alan. And, you guys know...” Morgaine looked at the other two, biting her lip as she tried to decide how to put out an offer...

“It’s not all sunshine and roses, but MS Hunting is always an option. Striking down the Preators where we can, building up the place we call home... It’s a possibility.”

Synapse was about to speak before Alan stops him. Stepping forward, he takes a deep breath.
"While your offer is generous, we decline. We do not agree with the current state of government and how they treat their citizens. My father felt the same and everyone on this ship including him left. Since we called them out, we've been doing nothing but trying to survive. Not every MS Hunter is focused on Preators. Some want to hunt down those that the government deems Vultures regardless of if their label is right or not. We've done nothing against the government, yet we've been hunted by several MS Hunting factions allied with them."
Alan's voice wasn't that of anger nor hate. It was soft, almost kind.
"Regardless of what we are called, I would like for us to remain on good terms, if not be friends." Alan says.

Synapse was somewhat stunned. Alan sounded exactly like his father in that moment. Miller was acting similarly, smiling as he remembered his late friend as he watched Alan.

“Which government? There’s dozens scattered across the solar system, and while some are in tatters, I’ll argue that some of us have our shit together.” The Gundam Fighter grinned, definitely appreciating Alan’s stubbornness. He seemed like a good kid, even if he was a little rude. “Tommy?”

The older gentleman cleared his throat, pulling up a map of Io’s surface. “Remember that crappy little bar in the literal middle of nowhere on the surface? Currently we’ve got about a hundred people living there, and a fairly strong presence. As the Mayor of Regis, by authorizing your team as part of Regalia, it’ll help you guys out if you’re attacked by another MS team.”

"I remember that bar. It's still in one piece?" Synapse asks with a chuckle.
Alan seemed in thought as Synapse spoke. After a bit, Alan glanced at Synapse.
"Could be good to work with others. We've been on our own for a while now. Could give us a bit of an easier life." Synapse commented, seeming to realize what Alan was silently asking him.
"Just take the offer, Alan. We know you got the hots for miss swordswoman here." Miller teased, to which Gideon hit him upside the head.
"Hey! What was that for?!"
"You're being an idiot." Gideon replied flatly.
Alan tuned out the arguing of the two as he turned back to the monitor.
"It'll be hard to trust again after the life we've had. If you'd be willing to deal with us, we'd like to give this a try." Alan said, shrugging and giving a smile.

“Sounds good then. We’ll send over the codes, signatures and such, get you guys registered as citizens and Hunters of Regis and the like. Shouldn’t be too bad. So next time you guys are around Io, should be able to dock in orbit or take it in for a landing... If it’s capable of atmospheric travel... I genuinely don’t remember if we were crashing or it was on purpose last time.”

Morgie was just nodding along to the conversation as she glanced back up to Alan, eyebrow raised.

"We've made some adjustements to allow it atmospheric travel. The hassel to put it on a mass driver will probably have us dock in space, though." Synapse explained. The transmitter for voice was cut off, yet the video feed was still running.
The Gundam Fighter would see Miller grinning mischievously at Alan who was discussing something with the captain. Once Alan was finished speaking with Synapse, Miller would bring him into a headlock. If she was able to read lips she could make out phrases that would infer Miller was teasing Alan about him and Morgie. Gideon would shake his head at Miller's actions.
Once Alan managed to get out of the headlock, the microphone reactivated.
"-obably doesn't even-" Alan cut himself off as Synapse cleared his throat. He turned back to attention and looked at the screen.
"We received everything you sent over. We're implementing it into the ship's computer as well as finishing the registrations for citizenship." Synapse spoke. "It should be completed shortly."

“So you did almost crash it then.” Thomas smirked a bit as he could see the discourse on the bridge of the ship, shaking his head.

“Well. Let’s get home safe first, before we start planning any dates.”

"We didn't technically almost crash it. It was a controlled fall." Synapse corrects jokingly, laughing at Thomas.
Thomas's comment wasn't unnoticed. Miller laughed and gave Thomas a thumbs up.
"We'll get along great!" Miller exclaims.
"Oh god, not you too..." Alan groans.
"In any case, we should head back. Where do you suggest we head to?" Synapse asks, his voice loud enough to get the pilots in line. "We were previously docked at the PLANT Juniper. Think we should head there?"

"Let's get going then. And hopefully our little Preator friend didn't alert others." Synapse says. He turns to his helm.
"Helm, take us home." Synapse orders.
"Aye aye, sir. Turn one-eighty. Procede at cruising speed. Steady as she goes!" The helm reports from his station.
High Center turns one hundred and eighty degrees before the main thrusters ignite and begin propelling it in the direction of the Juniper PLANT.

Alan sighs, taking a look outside the window at the wreckage. He then glances at the captain.
"I'm heading to the Mobile Suit deck." Alan says. "I felt something in my cockpit after firing the HMBL. Something might have come loose. I was under fire so a shot could have gotten through and hit a non vital system."
Synapse nods. "Get down there."
Synapse turns to Miller. "And you." He wears a scary look.
Miller jumps, staying at attention.
"If I remember, Jacie asked for me to let you know she's waiting for you in the sparring pit." Synapse says, wearing an evil grin. Miller got even more rigid before he slumped over.
"I'm gonna die..." He mutters, leaving the bridge.
Gideon waits for Miller to leave before saluting. "Returning to my Mobile Suit, sir!" Gideon says.
Synapse nods before watching Gideon leave. He sighs, sitting back in his chair and resting his chin on one of his hands, his elbow resting against the arm of the chair.
