Due to recent happenings in the Earth Sphere, more and more space colonists are seeking to emigrate daily. While we are currently able to manage the demand, we estimate that the speed at which new property opens up on Earth will soon cause the demand to start piling up.
We have had our eye on one of the newer regions that sprang up after Earth's restoration: Eorzea. The region is wrapped in unknown variables; the locals don't communicate with the rest of the globe very much and we haven't had much time to divide our attention at any prospects within those lands, and thus we have had little reason to divert any personnel to even discover if the effort is warranted. And so, we turn to you.
What we do know is that the area has major militaries and rather strict territorial borders. As such, you will proceed carefully and enter the "gate" to the region along with one of our independent contractors. We don't want to risk provoking anyone or causing a fuss over bringing in Mobile Weapons when we're looking to negotiate land deals so any that you wish to bring will be kept in a carrier near the border in case of an emergency. The technological level of the area is enigmatic; the contractor is proficient in martial and hand to hand combat, but for you a personal firearm may be issued if desired.
Locate any form of real estate or local towns and villages- whichever comes first- and gather as much information as is reasonable for mysterious travelers to have and return when you have either discovered an available venue for an unintrusive forward settlement or established a rapport with the local land owners.
I admit, it's an unorthodox thing to ask of a mercenary, but the pay should be more than enough to compensate. Not to mention we can put you on top of the list for a summer home or the like if all goes well. So what do you say?
