Biography:

According to what slim, extant records that could be attained: Allegedly born to a troubled warrior-family in the Beastman Kingdom, Grete eventually left to seek her fortune outside their ancestral lands under murky circumstances, ones that resulted in her effectively being banished from ever returning. Lacking any hard qualifications, as well as experiencing discrimination due to her origins, she fell in with organized crime, and was eking it out on the streets as a hired gun before experiencing a near-death experience in a shootout. It is uncertain of what exactly transpired during this time, but she was able to recover from life-threatening injuries in little under a week, and escaped hospital confinement rather than be taken in for questioning.

Since that incident, she has continued to resurface in greater and more notorious capacity, scaling up her operations from simple petty thievery and gang-related activity to dealing with international crime syndicates, terrorists, and (allegedly) even the Foundation. Having escaped custody on at least two separate occasions, she is considered armed and dangerous, and the League is willing to pay highly for her arrest or capture - whichever is more convenient.

Prior to the Eligor, Grete enjoyed a brief stint as an AT pilot, but wasn't quite skilled enough to cut it in the Battling arenas. Her Arm Slave itself is a subject of considerable speculation, as it supposedly originates from outside of Amalgam - yet no other known organization has the capacity to manufacture a Lambda Driver. Regardless, her weapon of choice is a long-barrel rifle, ideal for sniping distant targets and operating alone, a fact which has caused considerable difficulty in apprehending her for the League's in-house Ravens.

Excerpt from the Fiji Jupiter Special Investigative Committee’s “Memo on the Xephon Theft Incident”:

The above passage was translated from a stone tablet over one thousand years old, an imprinting of which has resided in our archives. Shortly after it was inscribed, a terrible catastrophe - a “curse” - is alleged to have struck the ancient people of Mu, leading to mass destruction of records at the time consistent with that of flooding.

It is believed that the original tuning ritual, conducted over ten centuries prior, was far cruder and composed in much more dire circumstances than the present day. It involved the human sacrifice of a “half-Mulian”, one whose blood was neither red nor blue, who was raised from birth to believe herself little more than an “instrument”, the “innocence” of the individual in question being considered the most important aspect in the ritual.

The Innocent’s description matches that of the subject of these prose segments, according to survivor testimonies from her attack on the treasure vault, as well as the Black Egg’s altar.

Mobile Weapon: BelXephon

The “Black Xephon”. The Black Egg was considered an object of considerable mystery, uncovered from the “rift between worlds” through uncertain means in ancient texts. It was long believed to be a “dead copy”, an inert egg that did not select an Instrumentalist, and as such had been stored away.

Through unknown means, the Innocent was able to awaken BelXephon, and its whereabouts are currently uncertain.

Name and appearance match individual reported as missing shortly after connection between worlds was established

Prior to disappearance individual was noted to have stated displeasure with Cephiran governance after studying magic and stated a desire to see the world, disappearance presumed to be individual beginning life as an adventurer despite no further sightings. No registration was made with any adventurer's organization within Cephiro, Eorzea nor have sightings been made in Garlemald for any adventurer matching name and appearance.

In all instances sudden introduction to the group is implied by either capture or contact, shortly after the group experiences a sudden increase in success and a shift in leadership. Individual was noted to be active in multiple groups at once before they conducted operations resulting in their own destruction. Each group demonstrated unconditional loyalty but any attempts to capture the individual in question resulted in the discovery of a corpse matching description.

All located corpses have been identical, contents of stomach have differed based on consumed food but all have died of sudden heart failure.
