Building Weapons:
Required Materials:

-Ammo (See below)

Note: WMD-tier weapons can only be obtained through special events

On Acquiring Scraps:

Scraps can all be found through salvaging during threads. Depending on the quality time spent salvaging, will determine how many scraps you find. All scraps come in types based on the MS they are used for (i.e gundarium scraps, zaku scraps), and come in two grades, MA and MS. Weapon scraps are separated into three categories (Beam, Physical, Melee). What kind of scraps you find are based on location.

MA Scraps are used to build Mobile Armors
MS Scraps are used to build Mobile Suits

Blueprints can be acquired through searching data in abandoned military complexes, stolen from major factions, or bought off the black market. Blueprints describe the required materials needed to make the machine or weapon. The Exception with this is with Gundam Frames (IBO), which possess the data needed to reconstruct them within their OS. However without a Gundam Frame, one cannot ‘make’ Gundam.

True GN Reactors are scarce in quantity, and most are owned by the Garland Dominion, who has a monopoly on the technology.

Other Reactors can be found by salvaging damaged mobile suits, mobile armors, and ships. One could choose to salvage a reactor from a damage suit, or take the suit in its entirety, which they could repair at a lesser scrap cost than building a new one. The Exception is Gundam Frames, as their twin ahab-reactor designs are integral to the frame, and cannot be taken separately.

Ammunition for weapons is mundane enough that special procedures aren’t necessary to procure them, excluding WMD-tier ammunition.

Trading Scrap

Scrap is sorted into Multiple Grades for trading purposes.
Low-Grade Scrap: used in MP suits, and materials under weaker than gundarium/AU-prototype material
Mid-Grade Scrap: Used in Prototype Suits, Gundarium and its equivalents
High-Grade Scrap: Used for High-Tech and Mobile Armor Materials.

In terms of trading it goes like:
1:1 Exchanging Low-Grade Scraps
1:2 Exchanging Low-Grade for Mid Grade
1:1 Exchanging Mid-Grade Scraps
1:4 Exchanging Low-Grade for High-Grade
1:2 Exchanging Mid-Grade for High-Grade
1:1 Exchanging High-Grade Scraps

Repairing Mobile Weapons
Repairing moderate to heavily damaged mobile suits requires scrap input and time to repair them back into working condition. The associated armor construction material must be used to properly repair the mobile suit.

For Moderately Damaged suits, one scrap of its associated type is required.
For Heavily Damaged Suits, two scraps of its associated type is required.
Repairing a damaged mobile suit taken from a thread requires half of its total build cost to get it functioning fully.
