History:
A mysterious organization of powerful beings with unknown goals and origins. Ascians pop up in the lore of many planets across the two dimensions, often as harbingers of doom and destruction. They are said to enjoy causing chaos and calamity where ever they go, simply for the sake of it. Ascian activity is still blamed on many planets to this day, but confirmed sightings have been limited to Earth, Hydaelyn, The World of Aura, and Cephiro.

Other Information: Ascians fight through others, not directly. When pressed, they will retreat and leave their lackies to face the consequences. Lower ranking members will fuse into their primal form; Ascian Prime, while the strongest of them will assume a primal form.

Look and feel: Ascians traditionally wear black robes with gold patterns, with the exception of Elidibus, who wears white with gold patterns. A purple pattern is centered on the chest, delineating the title of the Ascian. Each ascian is seen wearing a different style of mask, either red, white, or black.

Voidsent

Description: Varying in size, weight, and appearance; these creatures are pulled from the Thirteenth to do the bidding of the Ascians. From the smallest imp to the fiercest Hellhound, all of these dark creatures known as voidsent are at the beck and call of an Ascian. Their bloodthirsty nature and thirst for Aether guarentees the destruction of their target.

History:
Voidsent are pulled from the Thirteenth, a dark reflection of Hydaelyn. The world is inhabited with dark beings, warped by the Dark aspected Aether that consumes the planet. Little, if any Aether remains of the other elements on the Thirteenth, leaving the denizens hungry for the other aspects. Their forms are monstrous, twisted and mishapen into demonic creatures of legend and scaretale.

While Ascians are wont to rip open portals to the Thirteenth to yank unsuspecting voidsent from their home, they are not the only ones. Citizens with dark desires have been found to summon the creatures. The intelligent ones pulled from the Void will create pacts with their summoners, whispering sweet promises of power and desire to their masters with the ultimate goal to consume them and those around them.

Of note, the Void Ark imprisons many Voidsent, aimlessly flying endlessly in the Sea of Clouds.

Constructs

Description: Varying in size and material, Constructs are created of whatever materials are available and powered by a core known as a Golem's Heart. The heart is made of an aether conductive material. Larger constructs may require multiple hearts. Shape wise, they are limited only by the constructor's imagination. Ascians tend to have preconstructed inactive golems in waiting, ready to pull into combat and activate.

History: The use of golems is not uncommon on Hydaelyn. Long abandoned constructs can be found roaming the wild, aimless and violent, waiting for a master to bring them to heel or adventurer to claim their power source. Remains left behind after the heart is stolen may animate again if a suitable power source is found and replaced.

The Ascians, seeing an opportunity, regularly capture or seed golems in the wilds, keeping their options open for reliable minions. Their hard exterior, weight, and strength make for the perfect tanky hard hitters against meddlesome adventurers.
