Faction Name: The Hau Dragon
Government: Feudal Monarchy
Capital:

Territories: Hong Kong
Population: Approximately 200,000 individuals and an uncertain number of global support staff.
Goals: World domination through overwhelming firepower, creation of a new world order in favor of the Dragons.

History:

Originally known as "International Electronic Brains", the Hau Dragon contributed significantly to the return of electronics through not only careful preservation and restoration, but breakthrough techniques in improving pre-war technology on Earth. A household name, it's estimated that IEB chips and products are present in over 70% of the world's existing hardware.

With the arrival of the League, IEB found itself being side-eyed anxiously by the United Nations - justly so, as an alliance between the two would open the door for the spacefaring power to gain a foothold on Earth. Much political jockeying has ensued to win their favor in the interim, with the company staying conspicuously silent.

Unbeknownst to the world writ large, IEB's heart and fortunes were owed to more than mere luck and innovation. Followers of an ancient conspiracy, claiming to be blessed by the Dragons of another world hundreds of years ago, IEB has carefully bided its time in preparation for the "Time of Trials", where their strength will be called upon to wash away the world of man, and make way for a new, glorious age where the chosen survivors will live in peace and harmony with Dragon-kind.

To this end, they poured their massive resources into the development of eight colossal Super Robots, piloted by their hand-picked genetically engineered super-soldiers, the Hakkeshu - or "Bagua", named and designed as such after the eight Chinese elements. Each is an army in and of itself, capable of mass destruction that easily equals the WMDs deployed by other major factions. Originally, their plan had been intended to be put in motion during a meeting with the League, but the sudden hijacking of one Bagua Robo in particular led to massive destruction, and over two years were needed to fully recover from the incident.

Now, as war with the Dragons intensifies, the time has finally arrived for IEB - or rather, the cult of the Hau Dragon, to reintroduce itself...

As the rightful rulers of a soon-to-be scorched planet.

Look and feel:

Outwardly, IEB appears for all intents and purposes to be a humble electronics manufacturing corporation, whose representatives are known for their insistence on respect, culture, decorum, and fairness in dealing. It is these qualities (as well as generous shipping rates, reliability, and no-questions-asked return services) that have earned them their reputation in the world.

Behind closed doors, the Hau Dragon adopts the trappings of eastern royalty, borrowing design elements stylistically derived from dragons and taoist mysticism. Ceremony is treated with the utmost importance, and their lairs are consequently a fusion of both futuristic technology, and ancient ritual.
