Born to the poorer Ashton family in Britannia, Minerva displayed high scientific aptitude from an early age, and was quickly fast-tracked into advanced schooling. She managed to claw her way above her status with her intelligence and propensity for mechanical engineering and energy, working to provide for her lower-class family. As an adult, she worked as a Royal Scientist and participated in many aspects of newer-generation KMF design for several years, earning a reputation for her frequently erratic work habits and designs and propensity for lab accidents. Eventually, her list of transgressions and “accidents” piled up, culminating in her reducing half a building to smithereens during an experimental weapons test.
As a result of her mistakes, Minerva was removed from her position and placed on house arrest - an act which she took as an immense personal slight. Sensing Britannia’s growing distrust of her and her work, which she took as an underappreciation of her genius, she decided to take action. She placed a call for aid on the black market and other illicit communications channels, promising in-depth knowledge of experimental KMF advancements and a stockpile of accumulated technology and her scientific talents to whoever would take her in. Having placed this call, she hijacked a transport carrier truck full of her personal collection of Mobile Weapon parts and made a break for it, heading for the coast to hopefully escape the country. She is currently on the run.
