Biography: Born to the world as the sole daughter of the Britannian House of Harlowe, the Britannian half-breed never really liked being a Britannian. She never felt her mother's patriotic fervor nor did she heed her father's advice to bow her head and act subservient to her 'betters' for her own safety. No, young Piper was born with an unquenchable spirit and no matter the harshness of the life she was born to, she has firmly and quietly never yielded. This attitude served her well when she was forcibly enlisted by her mother to the piloting academy in the last ditch hopes of getting her to love her country. It didn't exactly work as the Harlowe matriarch expected but Piper had grown a passionate interesting in piloting that made her a loyal member of the Britannian Army for a couple of years.
It didn't last. She left the corps and Area 9 at the age of 21, enticed by the lucrative offer of being a mercenary and test pilot of an eccentric engineer. She has never looked back. Her new living gave her everything she wants and everything she needs; a good machine, good company, and the opportunity to put her piloting skills to good use.
