PLANT "Juniper"
0300 Hours

The High Center slowly approached the hangar of the PLANT. Apogee motors adjusting their position in relation to the docking clamp.
"Easy does it..." The helm muttered as he slowly maneuvered the ship into place.
The ship shuddered as the docking clamp grabbed hold.
"Got it." The helm reported. "Docking successful, we're parked."
"Gotta make sure we pay the parking fee then." Synapse said, standing from his chair as he did. He went to the docking port.

Alan was floating alongside his Mobile Suit, fixing damage in the lower torso unit with the help of a few Mobile Suit mechanics.

“Looks like it’s smooth sailing from here.” The Gundam Fighter flashed a grin to her compatriots as the three made their way down to the docking port. Thomas, Leah and herself had been “forced” out of the ship more or less as Arthur looked to repair the damage the Musha has sustained. And presumably call back home, but it was decided to let him join when he felt like it.

“So, dinner with the pilots of the High Center sound good?” Morgaine was taking advantage of Leah’s motorized nature, letting the tank girl drag her along in the low g environment as long as she could.

“I’ve got no problems with it, see if we can convince Synapse.”

Synapse was standing with Miller and Gideon near the exit of their ship's docking port. They seemed to be waiting for something or someone.

In the hangar, Alan was too encompassed in repairing the damage to notice how long it was taking.
"That goes there... And this..." A click. "There."
Alan took a tool from a floating clump of tools nearby before working inside the damaged armor at the components inside.

“Well well, look who we’ve got!” Thomas was the first to round the corner and was already throwing himself towards his old friend, laughing. “God, you got old Captain!” The elderly newtype pulled his friend in for a hug, willing or not.

The other two made a less enthusiastic approach, with Morgaine finally walking while Leah rolled forward. “A pleasure to meet you in person.”

Synapse smiled. "You too, you old coot! Still surprised you don't need a wheel chair old man!"
Synapse returned the hug, slapping Thomas' back a couple times.

"Pleasure is all mine, Ma'am." Miller said in a smooth voice.
Gideon slapped the back of Miller's head.
"Apologies for Miller. He's like this with every woman. As for Alan, he's working on his Mobile Suit. Sustained a shot to the lower torso region during that fight." Gideon explained.
"We couldn't bring along your date, we're sorry." Miller joked. "You're welcome to visit him in the ship, though. I'm sure he wouldn't mind the company."
Miller's statement earned him another smack from Gideon.
"Dammit Gideon! Stop smacking me!" Miller said.
"No." Was Gideon's simple reply.
Gideon turned to Thomas. "It's been a while, Thomas." Gideon says, approaching Synapse and Thomas.

Meanwhile, Alan put the last parts in place. He then got help from some other mechanics to put the spare armor piece in place of the damaged part.

Leah looked back at Gideon, fairly emotionless as she rolled up to Miller’s side and began to slap him in the midsection.

“It’s no worries. Hopefully he’ll be able to join us later then.” The Gundam Fighter just smiled, offering her hand to Gideon.

“Ooh, not yet, not yet. Soon, but I’m still alive for now. But anyways, I think some people are due for a celebration!”

Miller let out a grunt of surprise as Leah slapped him.
"Gideon! Just found a girl after your own heart!" Miller said, letting out another grunt as he was slapped again.
Gideon let out a small chuckle. "It just shows that you're that bad." Gideon replied.
The Cyber Newtype took Morgaine's hand and shook it. "He's a fast worker. He shouldn't be long." Gideon explained to the Gundam Fighter.

"I agree, my friend." Synapse said, nodding.

As they were talking, Alan was finishing up the securing of the armored piece.
"Alright, there we go. Now to run a diagnostic." Alan started.
"Alan, don't worry about that. You have shore leave. We'll handle the diagnostics." One of the mechanics said.
"You sure?" Alan was hesitant.
"Of course. Now go and meet our new allies. Tell us about them when you get back." The technician said.
"Alright. You guys better not break my father's Mobile Suit." The Newtype pushed off to his quarters to get civilian clothes.
"We wouldn't dream of it, Alan." The technicians began working.

“If you guys want to got ahead and get us all a table, I’ll wait for Alan.” Morgaine’s suggestion seemed innocent enough, knowing it would be best to find a restaurant before it was too busy. Or was she trying to be alone with Alan..?

Miller was already on the case. He grinned mischievously, not voicing his thoughts to the others, much to Gideon's surprise.
Gideon was hesitant before he shrugged and walked with Miller.
Synapse moved an arm around the neck of Thomas. "Alright, old buddy. There's this nice bar the boys and I always go to after a job. Best beer this side of Mars." Synase said with a grin, pulling Thomas along.

Alan was heading to the docking port wearing a blue button up short sleeve shirt with black slacks and black shoes.
Why did I get all dressed up. Usually I wear jeans and a T-shrit.
Alan thought to himself as he floated out to the exit. Exiting, he noticed Morgaine standing there where everyone else should be. He tried thinking of something to say.
"Hey." Alan said.
Great starter. Alan thought to himself.

Thomas was already too eager to catch up with his old friend, following his lead to the bar. “You guys are lucky, I’ve gotta say. No captain better than Andrew here. Well, maybe there are, but they can’t argue with us at the moment!”

Leah... well, they made a turn at some point, and she was just gone now.

“Someone’s looking dapper, huh?” Morgaine chuckled a bit, arms crossed as she looked over her own outfit. Short brown jacket over a brown tee, cargo pants, she was ready for a night on the town. “The old folks are headed to a bar, if you’re interested.”

"The Captain is a pretty good leader. Too strict on us though." Miller said before getting elbowed by Gideon.
"Quit it!" Miller snapped.
"No." Gideon replied.
"Miller speaks the truth. I'm hard on them. But it's all because I care." Synapse stated with a smirk as the group reached the bar.
A bottle of alcohol with wings and a halo was the logo of the bar. The words "The Heavenly Drink" are in the foreground in front of the bottle.
"And we're here!" Miller announced.

Alan's face flushed a slight red at Morgaine's comment. "I don't really know why I wore this. I usually wear jeans and a T-shirt."
Alan let out a shy chuckle.
"No doubt they're going to drink each other under the table." Alan commented with a chuckle. "Are you interested in seeing that? Or would you rather do something else?"
Alan looked at Morgaine's outfit and her. "You look good, by the way." He added shyly.

“Knowing Tommy, it’s gonna be more fun to see the aftermath. And I’ve gotta say, I’d rather eat something.” She chuckled a bit, walking towards the Plant proper. “My treat.”

"I wouldn't turn down a free meal. I'm down." Alan said with a smile.
His smile turned into a look of embarrassment.
"I'm not really well versed in restaurants in the colony, though." The Newtype said as he sheepishly scratched the back of his head.

“Me neither, but that’s why improvising is so important. Let’s take a walk through the restaurant district and see what catches our eyes, hmm? Could probably even stop by a food stall and head to the bar after.”

"Yeah, that sounds good." Alan said, agreeing with Morgaine's suggestion. "Let's get going."
The restaurant district wasn't that far from the spaceport. In it was many different restaurants from different cultures. Most notably Italian, Japanese, American, French, and Chinese.
"I've never actually been to a restaurant at all. This will be pretty new to me." Alan said as they walk through the district.

“Never? That’s... Huh. Leave it to me to babysit the kid.” She flashed him a grin, pulling the Newtype over to a Japanese styled food stand. “Bento boxes then, plenty of options.”

"H-hey! I'm not a kid!" Alan said with a frown. The frown slowly formed into a smile.
Alan decided to order a bento box consisting of a Rice Ball, Teriyaki, Fried Shrimp, California Rolls, and Gyoza Dumplings. He looked at the completed bento in awe.
"This looks so much better than ship food..." Alan commented.

Somewhere inside the High Center, the cook sneezed.

Morgaine could help but watch as Alan seemed to be fascinated by the presentation of the food, ordering from the hot side, a large stir fry noodles and steak. She dropped the payment on the counter and started to lead Alan deeper in. “Anywhere you wanna stop along the way?”

"A place to sit and eat the food would be nice. I'd rather not eat this at the bar. Would be too noisy to." Alan said with a shrug.
"Did you have any specific place in mind you wanted to stop at?" Alan asked.

“How about we catch a tram and head to the refuse area. Should have a fair bit of cash on our way after some scrappers buy those wrecks. Plus, a mostly intact Praetor with a destroyed core block? Hel yeah.”
