Alan's deameanor changed entirely. "Yeah! And Chief Donahue said he already roped in a deal for that intact GM Sniper II. Some rich guy in the colony wanted it for his son to train in. I have to say, with those controls being so simple, I would agree that it would be a good Mobile Suit to train on." Alan said with a smile.
"Couple that deal in with our wrecks and the Praetor, we won't really need to do another salvaging job for a while!" Alan continued, his expression brimming with excitement.
Alan began leading Morgaine to the nearest tram. Obviously, Alan was well versed in the transportation system, especially ones to the refuse area.
"I used to always go with Donahue to help deliver salvage to whatever refuse site the Colonies we docked at had. That was before I became a pilot with the help of my dad. Now I get shore leave instead." Alan commented as they walked.

 

[Tackle Jackie]

“Sitting pretty, alright!” She laughed and patted Alan on the shoulder, eyes skimming the horizon. It was nice, to just hang out for once. “So, Anything you hope to see out here?”

 

[Raider867]

"In the refuse sight?" Alan asked. "Maybe some old Mobile Suits. I haven't seen a real life Act Zaku in person yet. Wonder if they have one there!" Alan continued.
The tram slowly moved down the rails to it's destination. The initial movement caused them to get jolted back a small amount.
"Sorry if I am being nerdy. Mobile Suits were the only thing I really was around when I was a kid. I spent a lot of time around my dad's Hi-Nu Gundam as well as the other Mobile Suits that came and went. I actually helped repair an electrical problem with a salvaged Mobile Suit that ended up being sold to a buyer for more than the scrap price would have been if we didn't fix it." Alan explains, looking out the window of the tram and watching the city go by.

 

[Tackle Jackie]

"Cool cool my dude, never really... Got into the specifics myself. All I know is, when I see a cool mobile suit, I know it."
She shot him another grin, resting an arm on his shoulder. "You've got an impressive mind in there, I've gotta say. Maybe I'll have to have you and Leah go at it one day."

 

[Raider867]

"She your Mobile Suit expert?" Alan asked, his expression looking excited at the fact he can talk about Mobile Suits with someone else other than Chief Donahue.
"Wouldn't mind meeting this 'Leah' some time." He added, his expression changing to a smirk.

 

[Tackle Jackie]

"Certainly more than me. Actually..." Morgaine lept off of the tram, almost seeming to glide a bit as she started to walk down the street. "I think that's her, with the tank treads."
Sure enough, rolling down a sidewalk was the blonde girl, casually checking a datapad.

 

[Raider867]

"So that's Leah. Why the tank treads?" Alan asked as he stepped off the tram behind Morgaine. He watched the tread-legged girl roll down the sidewalk with curiosity.

 

[Tackle Jackie]

“Well, from what my old sensei told me, she had an Alaya-Vijanna implanted into her back, screwing up her legs. But, the guys that did it decided to just chop them off instead of taking care of her. So, after she was rescued, she built herself them.”

 

[Raider867]

"That's horrible..." Alan said, shaking his head. "Let me guess, the Alaya-Vijanna system was forcefully implanted?"

 

[Tackle Jackie]

“That I’m unsure of. Like I said, I only know that she had it done. And I don’t really feel like I should ask.”

 

[Raider867]

"Understandable. I feel it would be a sour subject as well." Alan said, nodding.
Changing the subject, he continued. "Anyways, how about we head to the refuse site? Or maybe ask if Leah wants to come along?"

 

[Tackle Jackie]

“Preeeeeety sure she’s already on her way there.” Morg flashed him a grin as she ran up to her teammate, ruffling her hair. “Hey Goldilocks, heading our way?”

 

[Raider867]

Alan caught up to the two, being quiet for now to listen to the two converse. He found himself looking at the treads curiously. Before he could be noticed staring, he looked back ahead of him again. He felt it was rude to stare.

 

[Tackle Jackie]

“So, this is Alan, alan this is Leah, introductions and such!”
Leah gave a small chuckle, offering it to Alan. “Nice to meet you in person then. Nice suit by the way.”

 

[Raider867]

"Pleased to meet you, as well." Alan replied, shaking Leah's hand politely. "Thanks. My dad used to pilot it back in the war."
Alan gave Leah a friendly smile as he shook her hand. He withdrew his hand soon after.

 

[Tackle Jackie]

They continued there way down, Morgaine pushing Alan forward. “Wanna take the lead?”

"I-I mean I could point out small details from different Mobile Suit parts in the refuse sight." Alan said, surprised at Morgaine's action.

Leah sighed, taking the lead as she started heading deeper. “Do me a favor and keep an eye out for frames, I’m looking for something to actually take out.”

 

[Raider867]

"Why is that? Do you want to have another Mobile Suit in your ship?" Alan asked curiously, his curiosity taking the better of him as he followed next to Leah. "And why frames specifically? Any reason?" Alan continued.

 

[Tackle Jackie]

“No, like I’m looking for something compatible with Alayna Vijanna, and they tend to be stripped of armor.”
