A grunt escaped Adenine as the beam ribbed ensnared her weapon, fighting against the Nobel's attempts to pull the weapon off-kilter. You want it so bad? Fine! Take it! It was too late for her to save her impromptu teammate from harm, proven true as the Lumber Gundam still fell upon the polearm's blade despite the fact that the beast-woman relinquished her grip. Maybe Sylvia would feel badly about it - but they had been opponents as well just shortly before, so she wasn't about to count on that. The damage was not as critical as the original blow would have been, but the pilot would still be in a bad way.

And speaking of, dead weight or no, the mass of their machine was still tumbling onward under the watchful gaze of inertia.

Freed of her weaponly obligations Adenine dove to the right, in the direction of the Lumber's ruined arm, flinging itself into a dodge-roll that would have been absurd coming from anything other than a Mobile Fighter. Or that was the idea, at least; while she avoided being crushed under the flying brick of a Gundam, it wasn't before the Nobel's second streamer wound itself around the Rising's leg. Her graceful roll involuntarily became a superman maneuver mid-course, plowing into the dirt like a baseball runner diving to safety. FUCK! What just...oh you bi-

Jerking its leg up, the Rising Gundam grabbed hold of the ribbon and with a twist of of the wrist securely bound it up around it own hand. These stupid things were getting irritating and it was about time she did something about it. "How about you come over here and start fighting like a woman instead of a girl!" Adenine hauled on the captive streamer with all the might she could muster, intent on either dragging the two closer or dislodging the haft from the Nobel's grasp.

A smug smile found its way upon her lips as the weapon was dutifully wrapped, unfortunately for the Lumber it would still suffer but so be it. A sharp pull came as the ribbons unwound launching the polearm away from everyone and out of the Lumber's chest. Spears were not for her, and as such they would be for none. Fortunately as well because if she needed to balance her footing and handling an inbound weapon's recoil there would be failure in one regard at least. Especially with the swift change in weight around one arm.

There were straight lines in the dirt from where she stood before and now, the power of a good posture when dealing with suddenly shifting mass on display but anyone ages 8 and up aught to be familiar with that trick. This was simply that scaled up to Gundam size and also scaled up to Gundam size was the incoming pull that Sylvia could fortunately prepare for in time. She opted to take a step forward rather than fall flat on her face like her foe, and that distance would keep closing with the grip the Rising Gundam had. Something she considered a good idea to mimic as she rotated her wrist so that the ribbon could wrap around hers as well.

Bound in this martial matrimony thusly the no longer wrapped around the polearm ribbon straightened and shortened as the Nobel Gundam made an eager approach. The extra speed of the pull brought to bear in a forward thrust aimed for the head of the ground bound interloper. Was it a risky maneuver, in a sense yes as should this miss she was uncomfortably close to her adversary but was it also flashy enough, in her opinion yes. Crowds loved that kind of trick.
Still she had to focus for this attack, to not plummet to the dirt and lose her footing should it go awry and as such would have to relent on the banter sadly and shamefully.

Suwa’s cockpit was filled with curses and whines of pain as the polearm pierced through her chest, her Gundam mimicking her clutching at the hole left after it had been ripped back out. That ”assist” had admitted changed her plans slightly. The blow had thankfully not pierced her cockpit, but it left her clearly at a disadvantage.

The Lumber would watch the pair wrapped their arms in the beam ribbon, almost willing to let them finish the battle on their own. However, intentional or not, Suwa thought caught something as the Rising had rolled away. The Lumber Gundam would live up to its namesake, stumbling forward before engaging its verniers, dashing past their opponents and stomping its spiked soles down onto its discarded arm.

That's right, come on... Grabbing hold of the ribbon with her free hand, Adenine coiled up a length of the streamer herself as the Nobel closed the distance - so long as she kept some slack between where it was wrapped around her wrist and the same on her leg, the other fighter couldn't use it to yank her footing out from under her. She wasn't going to have time to clamber to her feet before Sylvia came close, and so an alternative course of action would have to do. And she knew just the thing.

While it was true that the Rising Gundam incorporated the same trace-suit controls as its Mobile Fighter compatriots, it was otherwise designed as a weapon of war moreso than a gladiatorial combatant, a fact that endowed it with some tools that they tended to lack...such as powerful thrusters. Rolling around unceremoniously in the dirt to orient itself in the correct direction, the Gundam's pilot braced herself. Sod and debris erupted from behind the machine as it rocketed forward, engines firing at maximum burn and catapulting it directly at the Nobel. It flew forth with arms outstretched, aiming to grapple the enemy around the abdomen and take it for a wild ride.
